So, I decided to order a pie online from Dominoes while watching the Rays-BoSox game. After you place your order, Domino's has interactive tracking which includes a few brief questions about the election. After you answer the questions, the results are displayed. It appears the Domino's Poll is consistent with the rest of the polls out there, i.e., Obama is America's choice!
I'm sure the right-wing will claim Domino's is "liberal" and "biased".

Poll: Bush Approval Rating Sinks to 32%
H/t to tpmcafe:
President Bush's approval rating has sank to a dismal 32%, his lowest rating since last May, a new Gallup poll finds. Bush's approval numbers have remained below 50% for two years in the Gallup poll, and the survey also finds that the President's approval rating of 46% on terrorism -- which is often described as his signature issue -- is lower than his disapproval number of 52%.

Poll: Bush Hits Another Low
In a Newsweek poll following his State of the Union address, Bush’s rating hits a new low.
"The president’s approval ratings are at their lowest point in the poll’s history—30 percent—and more than half the country (58 percent) say they wish the Bush presidency were simply over, a sentiment that is almost unanimous among Democrats (86 percent), and is shared by a clear majority (59 percent) of independents and even one in five (21 percent) Republicans. Half (49 percent) of all registered voters would rather see a Democrat elected president in 2008, compared to just 28 percent who’d prefer the GOP to remain in the White House."

Global Poll Shows Disdain For Bush
From wsws.org:
"A BBC poll questioned more than 26,000 people in 25 countries (including the US) between November 3, 2006, and January 9, 2007. Across all 25 countries, one in two people now says the US is playing a mainly negative role in the world. Three quarters, or 73 percent, disapprove of how the US government has dealt with Iraq."
"World citizens disapprove of the way the US government has handled all six of the foreign policy areas explored by the poll. In addition to the overwhelming disapproval of US policy in Iraq, majorities across 25 countries also disapprove of the US handling of the Guantánamo detainees and other prisoners (67 percent), the 2006 Israeli war on Lebanon (65 percent), global warming (56 percent) and US handling of the nuclear programs of both Iran (60 percent), and North Korea (54 percent)"

Poll: Bush at 33%, Reaches Nixon-like Low
Bush will face the nation this week more unpopular than any president on the eve of a State of the Union address since Nixon in 1974. Nixon was beleaguered by the Watergate scandal. Three decades late, Bush deals with the war in Iraq and an unpopular troop surge.
Bush's job rating matches the worst of his presidency: Thirty-three percent of Americans approve of his work in office while 65 percent disapprove, 2-1 negative, matching his career low last May.
You're doing a heckva job, Georgie

Bush's Speech Has Opposite Effect of What Was Intended
President Bush's speech aired throughout the world last night, as in desperation he attempted to build support for a plan that faced a 61% disapproval rate before it was even publicly announced.
The intended effect of the speech, to gain the popular support of the American people, failed miserably.
MSNBC is reporting that a new AP-Ipsos poll has been released, which finds a full 70% of Americans are opposed to sending further troops into Iraq, 9% more than before his speech aired.
"Fully 70 percent of Americans oppose sending more troops, and a like number don't think such an increase would help stabilize the situation there."Other findings in this poll?
Only 35% feel it was right to go to war with Iraq in the first place, the lowest rating AP has seen when asking this question, and a complete 180 from two years ago when 2/3 of Americans felt it was the right decision.
And in one of the saddest commentaries on the war, a full 60% of Americans "think it is unlikely that a stable, democratic Iraqi government will be established."
A poll conducted by The Washington Post/ABC News found similar numbers, although they were closer to the original numbers indicated before the speech.
"The findings of the survey, conducted after Bush's primetime speech, represent an initial rebuke to the White House goal of generating additional public support for the mission in Iraq. The poll found that 61 percent of Americans oppose sending more than 20,000 additional troops to Iraq, with 52 percent saying they strongly oppose the plan. Just 36 percent said they back the president's new proposal."Heck of a job Bushie!

61% of Americans Oppose "Surge"
In line with the good doctor's post just moments ago, it's important to note where American sentiment lies on the Bush/McCain/Lieberman strategy of escalation.
Democrats are not merely acting as obstructionists when they work to deny Bush the opportunity to sacrifice upwards of another 20,000 American soldiers lives. According to a USA Today/Gallup poll released today, only 36% of Americans are in favor of escalation, while a staggering 61% majority oppose this action.
This coincides closely with the sentiment of our troops on the ground. Right-wing commentator and usual Bush supporter, Oliver North noted just yesterday that "nearly all" US troops are opposed to the escalation as well.
Bush may not listen to the voice of the American people, but it is finally being heard loud and clear on the Capital.

Poll: More troops unhappy with Bush’s course in Iraq
The Military Times released a new poll yesterday of 6,000 active duty U.S. military personnel. The results were revealing. Some highlights:
– Only 35 percent said they approve of the way President Bush is handling the war, while 42 percent said they disapproved.H/T to Think Progress.
– 50 percent believe success in Iraq is likely, down from 83 percent in 2004.
– 38 percent believe the United States should send more troops to Iraq. 39 percent believe we should maintain current levels or reduce the number of troops, including 13 percent who support complete withdrawal.
– 72 percent believe the military is “stretched too thin to be effective.”
– 47 percent disagree with President Bush’s mantra that the war in Iraq is part of the war against terrorism, while the same percentage agree.
– Only 41 percent of the military said the U.S. should have gone to war in Iraq in the first place, down from 65 percent in 2003. That closely reflects the beliefs of the general population today — 45 percent agreed in a recent USA Today/Gallup poll.
– 52 percent approve of the overall job President Bush is doing, down from 71 percent in 2004.
– 63 percent say the senior military leadership has the best interests of the troops at heart. That number is lower from President Bush (48 percent) and lower still for civilian military leadership (32 percent) and Congress (23 percent).

Bush #1 Villain of 2006: Beats Saddam, OBL, and Satan

From ABC News:Bush won the villain sweepstakes by a landslide, with one in four respondents putting him at the top of that bad-guy list. When people were asked to name the candidate for villain that first came to mind, Bush far outdistanced even Osama bin Laden, the terrorist leader in hiding; and former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, who is scheduled for execution.
